Summary:
Asperger’s Syndrome is a type of Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), which is a condition that causes a person’s socialisation skills and imagination skills to develop at a slow pace, slower than normal. There are a few PDDs and they are measured on a spectrum.
Children with Asperger’s function better to those with Autism, having normal intelligence and almost normal language development, but could have problems communicating later on in life.

I haven’t found any information that contradicts the findings in this article, there is also concise information is believable. There is no evidence of bias in this article as it is providing a website to the public so that they can learn more about autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. The authors have produced different articles about various topics purely to educate the public. It is simply informing us about something, not putting across an opinion or point of view. This doctor knows a lot about medicine and autism and would give accurate information in the article. Although she is not the head of the organisation, WebMD, she provides important information for the website. The institution from which this article was taken from is WebMD, an online organisation which gives accurate and concise information written by over 100 doctors nationwide. It has received countless awards for their articles, which shows that they are trustworthy and know what they are talking about. It is an educational institution that dedicates itself to providing accurate and precise information on various medical topics for the public to view and learn from. The organisation seems to also edit in a magazine, which is good, but could also mean that they give one-sided views and opinions. This institution has headquarters in Atlanta, which means that the information that they add to the website could be based on statistics for Atlanta; as they have over 100 doctors based in Atlanta and not internationally.
