The Titanic!!
From Antonine Marie Mallet’s Point of view (1887-1974)

Once, there was a ship, a very BIG ship, and it, was called, the TITANIC! The Titanic was one of the most famous boats out there, with a whopping 2,228 passengers! But, what they did not know, there was an iceberg, ready to STRIKE the Titanic! There were 2,228 people on the Titanic, but only an estimation of 705 people, made it out alive!
But there is only one survivor we will look at today… Antonine Marie Mallet! She was born on Friday, December 16th, 1887. She went on the Titanic at Cherbourg, France! She was 2nd Class and she had the ticket, 2079, £37 1d! She shared the ticket with 2 people, Her Husband, assumingly, Albert Pierre Mallet, and her daughter, André Clement Mallet. Then, they sailed!
After the ship hit the iceberg, just like everyone else, (I think… ) she freaked out. She, her husband, and daughter, tried to escape, just like everyone else. Remember, only 705 people survived. Now, lets state the facts in one paragraph.

Just like everyone else! But the sad truth is, only two of them, survived. (Previous paragraph) Her, and her daughter. Her husband, didn’t make it. After the titanic disaster, she had a wonderful life, not getting on anymore boats, probably. Her and her daughter, lived a assumingly happy life. Antonine died at October 22nd, 1974, and her daughter lived up until September 22nd, 1973.

Most inconveniently, the Titanic only had lifeboats for 1,178 of the 2,228 people on board, including the collapsible boats, and many passengers could not get to the lifeboats in time (Spignesi, Stephen J.). One of the first lifeboats to leave the ship only carried 28 passengers, when it was perfectly capable of carrying 64 (“Titanic Facts”). Less than 3 hours later, at 2:20 p.m. (“Titanic sinks”), she sank, pulling over 1,500 people to the ocean floor (Fowler, Dave), including some of the most famous celebrities of that time period (Loohauis-Bennett, Jackie). Sources disagree about the number of survivors brought aboard the RMS Carpathia 4 hours later, but the numbers tend to be in the range of 700 to 900. An eyewitness account describes the event…
