Hitler said that although the Jewish people spoke the German language, that did not mean they were German because their race was different. The Jewish people “dance around the golden calf” (Hitler). They had nothing, but “the power of money” (Hitler). If they stayed in Germany, the nation would not be “measured by the sum of its moral and spiritual powers, but rather by the wealth of its material possessions” (Hilter). Therefore, it was necessary to find out “whether someone is a Jew or non-Jew” and to support anti-Semitism, a movement “based on reason” (Hitler). Hitler used a stereotype from the middle ages to judge the Jewish. However, society has changed. During 20th century, bankers were not only Jews, but also other races. If Jewish people worked in the banks meant greedy, it also meant that germen people who worked in the banks were also greedy and would destroy Germany. The Jewish community was only 1% of the population in Germany. Even they were all “dance around the golden calf” and greedy, they were not significant enough to corrupt the national pride of Germany.
