“I don't get fat, I get skinny”- Diana Ross. In anorexia,people are obsessed with the food’s calories or how much they eat. What is Anorexia? What will it do to them? What is their reason? What do they usually do? What are the symptoms? Who is it mostly pronounced in? What is their treatment plan? These are the questions that will be asked by many.
What is Anorexia? Anorexia is an eating disorder that is not contagious. It means the loss of appetite. Usually people with anorexia are obsessed with food and trying to lose weight by limiting their food intake. It has different effects on them.

It focus on weight gain and psychotherapies. They are usually unaware of the condition causing it to be an emotion illness. They have to have their physical and emotional problem be treated. They don’t want to be cured and have a love/hate relationship. If they suffer with malnutrition they have to be watched and hospitalized. Usually a full recovery after treatment is 60%; partial recovery after treatment is 20%; and no improvement after treatment is 20% but not all treatments work. Anorexia is more pronounced in women they are usually shy, neat, quiet, conscientious to rejection, prey to guilt, feeling of inferiority and are avoiding the process of turning into an adult. They can be seen in identical twins, they have a higher rate of gaining an eating disorder because they shared the sames genes and they compare themselves to each other. 64% of individuals with eating disorders possess one anxiety disorder and 41% of them have OCD.
In conclusion, one would have learned about Anorexia and what is does to them, their reason, what they usually do, symptoms, who it's pronounced in, and treatment plans? It is an addiction that is hard to stop. We should support them and help them through their difficulties. We should show them it is not all about being skinny but being
