The word abortion can be defined as the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, which can be performed during the first 28 weeks of a pregnancy. Abortion was created in the 1800s but was not legalized until the 1900s. It does not harm the person and is practiced by many Americans till this day, therefore proving it to be safe. There are two different types of abortion methods which include medical or surgical abortion. Medical abortion involves taking medicine or pills to end gestation, and as for the surgical abortion, it is a methodology that ends an undesired pregnancy by removing the fetus and placenta from the mother 's womb or uterus. Surgical abortion is a minor operation that can be performed while you’re sedated, asleep or even awake. Some may dispute that abortion is an inhumane procedure or it is against their religion. However, what if abortion was interdicted and how will that change our world differently? There are a handful of reasons why abortion is considered positive by others. For example, the world population would increase dramatically without it, those who cannot afford to raise children would cause homeless kids to increase and many teenagers tend to accidentally get pregnant. Pregnancy would impact their lives in a negative way and that is when abortion comes in to decrease these contemptuous problems. Every woman should have the right to be able to decide for themselves about whether they want abortion to stay legalized or prohibited because…
