ACL injuries are amongst the most widespread knee injuries. The ACL, which stands for anterior cruciate ligament, is a ligament in the knee that joins the upper leg bone with the lower leg bone. While minor ACL tears can sometimes heal on their own with time, a more severe tear can require a lot of orthopedic rehab. Keeping your body strong and flexible will give you more control over your body’s movements and will help prevent the chance of injury.

There are three important habits people can adopt to help decrease the likelihood of an ACL tear:
