Here we have Oberon having a bit of a discussion with Puck, Oberon has just been rebuffed so to speak, he has been denied what he wanted by Titania. This is a married couple, who seem to dislike each other, they are arguing, they accuse each other of indiscretions, but that does not seem to bother Oberon nearly as much as the caring he notices that Titania is giving a little Indian Boy. Oberon doesn 't really want the boy, but since Titania really seems to care for him, she dotes on him, Titania "Crowns him with flowers, and makes him all her joy". Oberon wants to see what all the fuss is about the boy, why Titania cares so much for him. Oberon does not understand that the reason Titania cares so much for the boy is because his mother was a friend of hers, he does not comprehend the meaning of friendship. I think he is feeling left out, Titania is no longer paying enough attention to him, so like a little boy himself, HE wants the toy (Indian Boy).
