Hepatitis A
- fecal, oral, blood
- 15 ~ 50 days
- GI sx, fatigue, dark U, jaundice (ACE)
Hepatitis B
- blood, body fluids
- more contagious than HIV
- 50~180 days
- can survive for 1 week by itself
- cold sx with nausea, rash, diarrhea; no jaundice
- fatigue / depression after above sx disappear
Hepatitis C

- 20~90 days
- causes 40~60% of chronic LV disease
- GI sx, jaundice (ACE)
- like Hep B, but slower onset
Hepatitis D
- drug use, hemophilia
- only in presence of Hep B
- if also Hep B, may lead to acute LV failure

- 15~60 days
- rare
- may have jaundice (ACE)
HIV
- blood, body fluids
- 2~15 years
- initial onset : low fever, fatigue, lymph nodules
- #1 cause of death : pneumonia
