What are the four general revelation arguments for God's existence? |
Cosmological - creation as is an effect which must have been produced by a real and adequate cause. God is the first cause of all other effects. Teleological - because the universe has purpose, order, and design, there must be a designer of superior purpose and order. Anthropological - because man is a unique; reasoning, sensing, intelligent, being, there must be a Creator who has these attributes to an infinite degree. Ontological - because the human mind contains a belief in the existence of God, this reasoning must be based upon an actual existence of God.

What is the difference between person and personality? |
Person - what makes us living beings Personality - those unique qualities with make us an individual.

Image - the spiritual aspect of man which relates to God Likeness - the natural aspect of man which relates to life |

Eternity - Gods existence has no beginning or end. Freedom - God exists independent of His creation. Holiness - God is absolutely pure and separate from anything unclean or evil. Immutable - God is unchangeable and unchanging. Infinite - God has no boundaries or limitations in time or space. Love - God's desire is towards us and for our benefit. Omnipotence - God is all powerful and able to do anything consistent with His nature. Omnipresence - God is everywhere present with His whole being at all times. Omniscience - God knows everything, both actual and possible. Righteousness - Gods actions are completely correct in respect to justice. Simplicity - God is not a composite or compound being; He simply Is. Sovereignty - God does as He pleases according to His eternal purpose. Truth - All God says and does is correct and reliable. Unity - God is one essence. There is one God. |
