Control variable
a factor that is held constant to test the relative impact of the independent variable

Stratified Random Sample
A method of sampling that involves the division of a population into smaller groups known as strata. The strata are formed based on members' shared attributes or characteristics. These subsets of the strata are then pooled to form a random sample.
Validity
the degree to which a measure or scale truly reflects the phenomena under study

a measurable trait or characteristics that is subject to change under different condition
