• Why do plants carry out aerobic respiration?

Aerobic respiration is the creation of energy in the cells this happens all the time in our body and is done by taking glucose and oxygen and turning It into energy, carbon dioxide and water. This is vital to our bodies as without it are bodies can’t work to normal function and slowly start to shut down.
• What happens in photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis is when a plant takes in rays of the sun as a food source it does this by using the plants equation for respiration which is: Water + Carbon Dioxide –(Light)-> Glucose + oxygen
• What is a limiting factor of photosynesis?
Carbon dioxide, Heat and Light

• How can you increase the rate of photosynthesis?
by increasing the different elements that are needed for the reaction such as: Light and Carbon dioxide but with heat it neededs to be an optimum temprachure for it to work more effiecienly

• Why do plants need light, carbon dioxide and heat?

This is as plants use these different elements and compounds to respire and create energy and so to live they need these things

• How do plants ensure they get enough of these resources? What tissues and organs do they use?

Plants have multiple different organs that they use for the collection of these things such as the roots which collect water and the leaves which collect energy from the sun.
• How are these tissues and organs adapted to get enough of these resources?
The leaves have a large surface area as do the roots to cover a larger area of land and so can collect more water and light and CO2.

• What process do plants use to get substances in and out of leaves?

plants use leaves filled with chlorophyll which absorb energy from the sun also there are tiny valves in which carbon dioxide is taken into the plant via the leaf.

• Why do plants need nitrates?

• What are the functions of lipids in plants?

• What are the functions of carbohydrates in plants?

• What are the functions of proteins in plants?
