What is the definition of Pressure?
The force of a gas divided by its area.
What is the definition of volume
The space somthing takes up.
What is the definition of temperature?
The motion of the average amount of energy in the particles in a substance.
What is the formula for pressure?
Pressure = Force over Area
What is Boyle's Law?
Boyle's Law is explaining that when the pressure increases, the volume decreases *OR* When the pressure decreases, the volume increases.
What is Charles's Law?
Charles's Law explains that when the temperature increases, the volume increases *OR* when the temperature decreases, the volume decreases.
What happens to a basketball when it is left outside all night when the temperature is -4° Celsius outside?
The volume decreased because the temperture decreased. When the ball gets warm again, it will return to its original size.
