Blue

Blue indicates very hard/dense materials. Almost all metals and alloys are blue but other materials such as very hard plastics and very dense ceramics may also be blue.

Green

Green indicates medium-density inorganic materials. These are usually inorganic materials such as less dense plastics and alloys, glass (if not very thin), chinaware, and very thin metallic sheets such as aluminum foil.

Orange

Orange indicates low-density materials. The range of orange shades is very wide. On the one hand, it can be practically transparent for some fabrics, fluffy materials such as coats, and very light plastics.
