Lord is the more powerful person in the feudal contract, who is obligated to protect and look after his vassals in exchange for their loyalty and hard work.




The vassals are the less powerful person in the contract, who are obligated to work hard on the manor in exchange for military protection,food and housing.

The agreement made between the members of medieval society, where by people swore allegiance to more powerful people in promise to work for them in exchange for a place to live and protection
