-Application should be submitted at least 30 days prior to certification expiration date and must be online unless otherwise requested in writing.

Failure to Recertify

Certified pharmacy technicians that fail to recertify by midnight EST on the date of the certification expiration are no longer certified by the PTCB. They must immediately stop using the title CPhT.
