24 University students. Nonsense tri-grams. Avoided vowels, could put meaning to it. Had to count backwards in threes from number. 3,6,9,12,15,18 were the time intervals. As time increased, correct recall decreased. Low ecological validity, low in mundance realism Also a small sample, and not varied enough, used similar intellect and aged people. |

Age, disability and IQ could affect it. 10 digits and 24 letters, less to remember. |

48 years after graduation asked to connect names to faces. 70% accurate in ability. However if just had to name faces, accuracy decreased. High in mundane realism Extrenous details involved though- who they were friends with. Dependant on task however. |
