Aristotle (384-322 BCE)

Challenged his mentors (plato) teachings. He believed that we know reality through our perceptions and we learn through our sensory experiences (empiricism). He paved the way for scientists to study the world through observation. He is saying that experiences (nurture) plays an important role in how we acquire knowledge, this contradicts Platos belief of inborn, which is nature
