According to the concept of chain migration, current migrants tend to follow the paths of relatives and friends who have moved earlier.
I believe that this is understandable. I know that if some of my family memebers moved to another country, I would like to follow them in order to be with them. I believe that this is completely acceptable.
Are there other logical ways to draw boundaries? What might they be?
Yes, you can draw lines on maps where oceans, land, islands, etc. stop. You can also utilize colors to distinguish certain areas. For instance, mountains can be brown, water can be blue, and land can be green. All of these things draw boundaries on map and help the reader to distinguish what is what.
What would be the impact of a transportation device on the distribution of peoples and activities around the world?
The impact of this type of transportation device on the distribution of people and activities is that it would help people go places more quickly. If you need to be in Paris in 5 minutes, but you're in Louisiana, you can just use this device and be there in seconds. However, this could also be a bad thing because people would probably misuse the device making it much easier to murder.
Which elements of the physical environment are emphasized in the portrayal of various places on television?
An examples of this that represents Louisana is a popular telvision show called Swamp People. No, not everyone in Lousiana like to wrestle alligators. Nor do they all speak with such a thick accent. Many people from Lousiana are also well-educated, intelligent people. In my opinion, Swamp People portrays Louisiana as this place where the people are ignorant, uneducated, and poor. This is not the case at all and I feel like people from around the world may stereotype people from Lousiana in this way, which is unfair.
