General (Germany) Von Schlieffen developed a plan to sneak attack France by going through Belgium instead of the where France expected them at the German-France border. After sweeping across Belgium they would turn south towards Paris and defeat France in 6 Weeks.






This failed due to them turning south too early, allowing France at the border to catch up and defeat them
