Bitter and cooling

Signs
Tongue: swollen, red, thick yellow coat (front of tongue - upper; middle of tongue - middle; back of tongue- lower)
Pulse: Rapid, slippery
Upper jiao symptoms
Irritability - affects heart - shen disturbances, delirium; Lungs: cough with thick yellow/green mucus/nasal discharge, clammy skin;
Gallbladder - ear infections (excess) draining pus - instead of KD
Middle Jiao symptoms
Spleen/Stomach: foul breath, belching, vomiting yellow/green/blood, abdominal distention, appetite - more damp - less hungry, more heat - hungry;
Liver/Gallbladder: jaundice, bitter taste in mouth, hypochondriac distention, gallstones, STD’s - channel pathology - liver meridian goes thru genitals - herpes lesions
Lower jiao symptoms
UB/KD: UTI, dysentary - mucus, blood, burning sensation; bladder infection - blood in urine, burning sensation, white blood cell in urine, retention of urine, leukorrhea, STD’s
