Homozygous Alleles |
If the alleles for a characteristic are the same, the organism is said to be homozygous |
Heterozygous Alleles |
If the alleles for a characteristic are different, the organism is said to be heterozygous Will depend on which is dominant and which is recessive |
Phenotype or Genotype |
All observable characteristics of an organism are called a phenotype The full set of genes of an organism is called genotype Phenotype = genotype + environmental effects |
