Function of the circulatory system?

Transports important substances like oxygen and nutrients

Strong thick vessels that are elastic and durable. Capable of high pressures from blood as it is pumped by the heart

Carry oxygen and poor blood back to the heart.

Capillaries?

Microscopic blood vessels where the exchange of important substances and waste occurs
