Briefly explain the scientific method.

The scientific method has six steps. First, the scientist observes the data known so far, discovers more information, or data for the first time to compose a hypothesis of his or her’s data, which is the second step. Next the scientist conducts experiments on his or her’s hypothesis. The fourth step is collecting the data or conclusions of the testing that was performed on the hypothesis. Eventually, after studying the data from the experiments, the scientist then creates a theory. He or she continues to perform experiments on his or her’s theory until the conclusion of the experiments outcome becomes consistent. Finally, at this point, the theory is taken to court and can possibly transform from a theory into a law.

Why does the story of spontaneous generation illustrate the limitations of science?

You can never place redundant faith in scientific laws because they can always be disproved in the future.

Science can't prove
