What is biology?
It's the scientific study of life from the microscopic to global scale.
What are the levels of biological organization?
Biosphere, ecosystems, communities, populations, organisms, organ and organ systems, tissues, cells, organelles, and molecules.
What is photosynthesis?
Driven by solar energy absorbed by chlorophyll, this process converts water(H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) to sugar and oxygen.
What is DNA?
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the substance of genes, the units of inheritance.
What are nucleotides?
One of four kinds of chemical building blocks.

What are proteins?
Large molecules that build and maintain cells.
What is a prokaryotic cell?
The cell of bacteria and archaea, in which there is no nucleus to separate DNA from the rest of the cell.
What is an eukaryotic cell?
The cell of most forms of life, including plants and animals subdivided into membrane-enclosed organelles. Also contains a nucleus, which separates DNA from the rest of the cell.
What are enzymes?
Specialized proteins that catalyze decomposition and storage of sugar.
