My Definition: Laws that limited immigration from southern, eastern Europe, and Asia.
Sentence: The Immigration quotas were much like the Chinese Exclusion act but only allowed a small percentage of immigrants from those regions to immigrate into the US. |

Definition: Italian Anarchist immigrants who were executed for being poor and anarchist. Accused of robbery and theft. |

Sentence: Sacco and Vanzetti trial was counteracted by sympathizers, but their voices weren't heard. This resulted in the deaths of the two men under false crime allegations. |

My Definition: Case in which Scopes illegally taught his class Darwinian Evolution where he was charged and arrested.
Sentence: The effects of teaching "Darwinian" evolution are still felt in class rooms all around in the United States as a result of the tensions between religious folks and modernists during the Scopes Trial. |
