What is compact bone?
Outer most part of the bone. Strong and made of many layers. Yellow marrow is found within the hallowed out walls within compact bone
What in spongy (cancellous) bone?
Found at ends of bone and has lots of holes. The is where red marrow is located and where blood production occurs

highly speacilized nerve cells that generate and conduct nerve impulses
