On the other hand, when I read their responses, I felt they were very superficial, and I need to provide more experiences for the students to really tune into their feelings. On day 2, I read “Empro, Master of Feelings” to share a story about self-management. For this prompt, I shared an example of my personal goal and plan and another student’s academic goal and plan. This prompt was also easy for the students to respond because the goal they chose was either based on the situation at school or at home. On Day 3, I read “Birpa, Master of Uniqueness” that teaches the importance of understanding our specialness and that of others. The prompt on Social-Awareness was harder for the students to understand. It was easier for the students to write about their family members and themselves but they could not connect themselves to the community.
