The body relies on fat and carbohydrates for energy. The principle behind Atkins Diet is to restrict your carbohydrate intake while eating more protein and good fats. People who have tried Atkins Diet say that it is indeed helpful in weight maintenance, plus it aids in stabilizing the sugar level in the body.
