“We need to remember who the real enemy is.”Greta Thunberg states at her recent trial for protesting climate change. Greta Thunberg is one of the many Teen Activists in the world. A teen activist is a kid or teenager who wants to change the world. They fight for what they are passionate about, and never give up. Twenty-year-old Greta Thunberg is one of the many teen activists in the world. Greta started her activism when she was eleven, when she learned about climate change. Her father says she was so concerned she stopped talking, stopped eating, she was suffering from depression and later was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, a type of autism. She was charged with a public order of offense, but Greta still continues her activism to this day, this shows how passionate and hardworking Greta Thunberg really is. Although Greta Thunberg is a determined and devoted teen activist, she's not the only one. Like Greta Thunberg, Marley Dias also started her activism at a very young age, she saw a problem in her community and wanted to fix it. According to marleydias.com, she noticed that all the books in her library were about “white boys and their dogs” and thats when she started her campaign,#1000BLACKGIRLBOOKS to get 1000 black girl books in her library. Similarly, how Greta saw her community being destroyed by climate change, she spoke out for her people by protesting at a very young age while gathering more people to help her. As you can see these two teen activists saw a problem in their community and they both did something about it, Along with them another activist Mari Copeny also had similar issues, since Mari was four-teen she has been devoted to raising awareness for the Flint water crisis, she has already raised $600,000 for the people of Flint, she has also provided “back to school” backpacks with supplies and other toys, and easter baskets, along with that she has raised more
