The day began as Maya, Tasmeem, Hannah, Mary, Sadie, and I got into my car and jammed out to music all the way to St. Louis. As we approached the Loop, I could definitely tell we were in a very wealthy neighborhood which was indicated by the humongous mansions we saw. After parking at Starbucks Sarah and I went to the farmer's market in search of food. Since neither of us had been to the Loop and were in the spirit of trying new things, we purchased Chili Pumpkin Seed Chocolate to eat, and the chocolate ended up being quite nice. Later on we ventured to my favorite store of the day- the vintage candy store. All of the walls were full of funny signs, candy, sodas with odd names, bird masks, and little trinkets and toys.
