Mean Girls VS Clueless
In regards, to the films “Clueless” and “Mean Girls” I will be comparing the differences and similarities that each film illustrates. I will be comparing the way the two compare in a way that one way or another both movies send a similar message but in very distinct ways, coming down to the theme that makes them different but the message that corresponds to both movies. My goal is to explain the background of the movies and conclude them as well, along with the point of the movies and explain that while in life there can be very different situations, there is a message in everything.
Beginning with Clueless, it is an iconic teen movie with many satirical, delightful, bubbly, and overall pure gold moments. These films both give a view on the high school lifestyle, the films showed that for most high school students a lot go through the same experiences. Every high school has that “popular” clique, new students and at one point all let it get to them. The new kids try to fit in, but it usually does not end up good. Every “popular,” main girl does have a little sass in them and is very feminine which makes them likable. Both films have iconic moments and quotes that still to this day are used, mean girls’ most famous known quote “That is so fetch” and as for clueless “Ugh as if!” Mean Girls quote refers to “fetch” as slay or cool and it is a word that not a lot of people have not heard until the movie which makes it a word people like since it is unique and usable in a way. As for “ugh as if!” It is a quote that is used when being sassy. These quotes are ones anyone can use, and you can immediately know what people are referring to, they are very classic and
