“That’s just life and that's all part of it” “Part of It” is a song by country artist Jordan Davis. As Davis started high school, he entered relationships expecting them to result in marriage, as most teens do. When the relationship failed, he had to learn and accept the fact that everyone in his life isn’t meant to be. His dad advises him on how to move on from trauma and explains how it’s a part of life. In “Part of it” there is a soft acoustic guitar with a light pulsing of a base drum beat, starting off the beginning. The first course is then adding in a classical drum set doing the da-da-da low to high back down to low in pitch, repeating with soft symbols keeping the back group beat, until the last verse, which goes back to the smooth and soft introduction of the acoustic guitar and bass. As Davis enters the last verse, the rhythm continues and once the third verse comes to an end, the soft introduction comes back to wrap up the song. As the rhythm gets more intense, that’s where the lyrics show the impactful events of his life. Near the last verse is where the soul of the rhythm is, and that’s where Davis learns how to deal with trauma, move on with his life, and build a family. Rhythm is a crystal part of a song. It’s where the listener will remember the lyrics, hum the song during lunchtime or dance
