The Incensario stand is a beautiful sculpture that is carved and shaped with history and community. This piece is 25 11 9 inches, it is sculpted with clay which is turned into ceramics, the geography is in Guatemala and the culture is Mayan. It was painted with natural pigments but over the centuries and environment, it has faded with time. An outstanding vessel that gives insight into the type of sculptures they create.

It is a coffin made out of wood and carved and painted. This was created by an Egyptian and the ritual and dedication they would do to mummify someone is extremely interesting. I had a wonderful chance to see this in person and the depth and detail is astonishing. The coffin is about (86 1/8 26 18 in) and being able to see the details from all angles is unique. Analysis The composition of the “coffin of Pedi” is breathtaking, the shape of the coffin is rounder and has the form of the body structure. The size is about 7 feet tall; the texture would be a smooth wood feel with the carving detail and the paint they would use on the coffin. It is also covered in writing and most of the coffins have a similar resemblance to each other. The main observation would be how huge the coffin is, and the amount of detail and time dedicated to making it look neat and like the person they buried. The coffin is made from wood, but it is covered with pigments and symbols. She has a gold face, a beard, and bold lined eyes.
