Do people know that Florida is the southernmost part of the United States? Florida is located southeast of the United States and borders the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Florida is a place that is filled with amazing food and culture, breathtaking beaches and islands, and fun outdoor and indoor activities. Firstly, Florida is filled with a rich food culture. Florida, which is the most visited place in the United States, serves anything from Cuban sandwiches all the way to a bowl of warm pho. However, the majority of the tourists quickly travel for the food that is most popular, Key Lime Pie, Florida Stone Crabs, and Apalachicola Oysters. The most visited beaches are Key West, Siesta Key, Panama City Beaches, and Destin. According to www.FloridaKeysGuide.com, Florida has 4,510 islands that are ten acres or larger in size. The islands of Florida are filled with beautiful, colorful coral reefs. The popular islands that most people go to are the Anna Maria Islands, Amelia Island, and Pine Island. Florida’s beautiful coastal destinations are a must-visit for any beach lover. Finally, since Florida is a populated place, there are many activities and hobbies that people can do. Florida is known for its amusement parks, such as Magic Kingdom, Universal Orlando, Disney Animal Kingdom, Disney World, and Seaworld. Florida is also known for all the water activities such as snorkeling, parasailing, boating, jet skiing, and deep-sea fishing. Florida is renowned for its golf because of its sunny and warm weather. The state also holds PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association of America) tournaments every year. Florida is the perfect destination for outdoor and indoor activities and attractions due to its sunny and beautiful weather, hence why they call it the Sunshine
