The article is a review from Marc N. Branch of the Gene Heyman’s Addiction: A disorder of choice . Gene Heyman researches through a huge variety of different evidence on the phenomena of drug addiction. He argues that people don’t want to become an addict but normal choices can lead them into a condition like that. Gene Heyman discusses on how drug abuse and alcohol abuse is a brain disease. He also discusses a lot about treatment on drug and alcohol abuse and some percentages of people addicted. Chapter 3 of the book was also reviewed and it was reports from former and current drug addicts.

The National institutes of Health was very useful and had lots of great points opinions on drug abuse from the reviewer Marc Branch. This website is different from some of the other sources because it is a review of a book. The information is reliable because it is a government website and he lists facts from NIDA national institute on drug abuse and the NIAAA the national institute on alcohol abuse and alcoholism. Some of the information in this article was biased but there were many objective facts. The goal of this source was to review in depth a book wiritten on addiction.…
