Are utopias possible, no, over the course of decades humanity has not been able to replicate our view of utopias. While it is great for humanity to be accepting on one another but cultural differences in the world is very humongous. If humans as a race start to accept one another's cultures then there becomes issues with relationships between two cultures, specifically with their children. Their children will feel divided culturally, for there to be a utopia there would need to be no cultural diversity. No diversity at all. For that to happen though people would be forced to change their existing culture. This does not seem like a way to start a Utopian society. there cannot be any unrestricted internet access or television, everything you interact with on a day to day basis is fed to you by the government. everyone would be equal and make the same amount of money to buy the same cars and houses because jealousy has no room in a utopia. For example, the Amish, the amish is a utopian society that has survived for a while now. They live simple by having themselves create and produce their own food and wear plain dresses. They avoid present day life of today and do not use any source technology. This means that the Amish can survive by themselves without any help whatsoever. According to the author of the amish lifestlye this is not the case “The Amish will reach out to hospitals and doctors if members are wounded badly enough that the Amish cannot heal or fix.” The importance of this is that it shows that utopias are not perfect and seemingly impossible to achieve.
