Pressure control eq braided line
Extra BOP with grease injection head in between BOP's
Additional eq for braided line
Grease injection head, eq for grease inj and clean, line wiper to wipe WL ekstra BOP ram- greas head inbetween rams
what is quad BOP and advantages
consist of four rams, slickline ram, braided line ram, shear and seal ram. adv: can be used with both slickline and braided line operations
use of braided line
Heavier operations. where electrical power is needed- tractor, electrical signal for perforations and logging. operating sliding sleeves, milling, retraction of heavy tools etc
Main functionalities of a tractor
Push, pull and/or rotate tools/eq in wireline operations.
tractor also makes the wireline tool able to access horizontal parts of well,
Tractor challenges
restrictions in the well(most common). Be aware of obstacles such as geometry changes because of scale, PBR, damage tubing etc.
Also be aware of friction when pulling the wl/with tractor can cause WL to break
Purpose of production logging
Logg the production: Check if perforations are producing, What are we producing, water oil contact, pressure buildup in closed well, friction losses in well.
Different logging tools
production logging tool(spinnere måler farta på prod), temperatur, pressure, density, porosity, sonic, gammaray, caliper etc.
What is deployment
It is a method for putting more than one toolstring in the well, with the use of an extra BOP which seals around the spacer joint ( component to in between tools). The seal contains the pressure in the lubricator and another tool can be mounted after the first one without exposing the well to the surroundings
conventional access to well is done by:
A drilling derrick, Mount a BOP on top of xmas tree, then a riser system. The intervention is done with drill pipes/coiled tubing or WL. Heavy and light intervention can be done, but the back side of this method is high rig cost
Vertical xmas tree
Mounted after prod tubing, master valves are located over the production tubing. This makes wellintervention more complicated because intervention equipment have to go through the master valves before entering the well
Horizontal xmas tree
The horizontal xmas tree is mounted before the production tubing, and tubing is hanged inside the tree. master valves are located on the side of the tree which makes it easier to enter well with intervention equipment
The top of the tree is closed with a krone plug
TFL(trough flow line) concept
Pump plugs through flowline instead of using Coiled tubing/WL/drillpipe
RLWI riser less well intervention
Uses a Well intervetnion ship, mount lubrcator etc on subsea xmas tree, the WL and umbilical connects to lubricator. The umbilical delivers grease to grease injection head. The advantage is that RLWI is much cheaper than using a drilling derrick. and more available because it is not used for drilling. dissadv: can only use WL light intervention
