Leaf roll virus is spread by the mealy bug and infected cuttings. The virus causes considerable decrease in yield, delay in ripening, and reduces the quality of the wine.

Coulure what is it?

Coulure, the non-pollination of some of the blossoms causing the grapes either to fall off or never to develop, is caused by cold or wet weather at flowering time.

Eutypa, Eutypia, Eutipiose or Dead Arm disease is a fungal disease which affects the wood of the vine and causes it to die slowly. There is no known cure for this disorder.
