Great Compromise

Decided on house of legislature would be based on population and the other would give each state an even amount of representatives.

Slaves counted as 3/5ths of a person for population and taxation reasons

Commerce Compromise

Congress was forbidden to tax a State's exports, or take action against the slave trade for 20 years.
