They form links through investment. 1) mergers, two companies join together to form one bigger company. 2) acquisitions, when one company buys another. |

Vertical integration, when a company takes over other parts of the supply chain. (E.g. she'll owns every part of the supply chain) Horizontal integration, when a company merges and takes over another company that's at the same stage of production. (E.g. Disney took over pixar) |
