Pituitary Gland

Master Gland in the middle of the brain that has an anterior and posterior lobe

releases several hormones

Pineal Gland

situated in the brain and produces melatonin

thyroid gland
needs iodine to produce thyroxin which regulates metabolism and energy level; also produces calcitonin

Parathyroid

four small glands on the posterior of the thyroid gland and produces parathormone
