Abort start if EGT reaches 845 C. Abort aircraft during ground start if EGT exceeds 925 C. Total EGT fluctions of 15C (+/- 7.5C) are acceptable if EGT is between 630-650 C.

Max allowable transient RPM 107%.
Nozzle Position
Following rapid throttle movements, nozzle position should stabilize within permissible fluctuation range within 10 sec.
Fuel Flow
During start, FF may momentarily transit above 360 after advancing throttle, but should return to equal or less than 360 prior to EGT rise during start.
Oil Pressure
Do not exceed 5 min at MIL with oil pressure above 55. If sudden change of 10 psi or greater while engine is stable, treat as system malfunction.
