What is a social problem?

A social problem is a social condition (such as poverty) or a pattern of behaviour(such as substance abuse) that people believes warrants public concern or collective action to bring about change. (Kendall, 2004)

Relative Poverty

Relation to the general standard of living and accepted quality of life. Dependent on the society and varies with time (computer, phone)
