Beehive shaped houses with grass. Very low doorways on the East and West Side, and there was an opening on the roof.

They built homes with earth and placed grass on the tops and entered through tunnel like openings that were wide for horses.

When they hunted.

Kansa men plucked their eyebrows, chins, arms, and heads. Wore ornaments in their ears. Warriors wore bear claws around neck.
Describe how an Osage man would have looked? (Clothes, hair, jewelry, etc...)
Osage men shaved their hair except one band, and wore ornaments in pierced ears. Had bracelets and tattoos.
What did the Kansa do when they feared their traditions were in jeopardy?
The Kansa taught the Osage special dances so it would be preserved.

The scarcity of resources in Arid Kansas.
