How does the charter protect individual rights and freedoms?
* making curtain category's of the rights and freedoms
* the government can face consequences for violating anyone's rights and freedoms
* the charter guarantees us our R&F but we must be responsible for them
* in many historical events, we saw plenty of discrimination to words race and gender. But now we are protected under the charter. Everyone is treated equal b/c of the Charter

* a freedom is something done at leisure, for ex: freedom of speech and freedom to choose your own religion

* If there weren't no rules about law making then people would not pay taxes or bills
* if ppl don't pay taxes and bills, then the gov't wouldn't have money to pay to fix the roads
* the laws that should be passed in the congress should agree to the charter and no law should disagree to the charter b/c it will be harder to unite the case
* canada makes laws that helps us use our rights effectively , and that helps us in the case of our rights being restricted .
* the charter helps canadian's as a hole when there is a problem to be dealt with regarding restricted rights for Canadians as a whole

* therefore, Canada's workplace are very divers and multi- cultured

* the charter protects workers from discrimination as well
* our charter gives workers freedom and equality
* labour unions also help protect the rights and interests of workers
