What is a series circuit?

A series circuit will not work if one or more light bulbs go out. It also only lets one path of electricity to flow.

What is a parallel circuit?

This circuit will stay on if one or more light bulbs go out. It allows an electric current to flow through more than one route.

What is static electricity?

An electrical discharge.

What is an electron?

A negative charge.

What is a neutron?

Neutrons have no charge at all.

What is a proton?

A positive charge.

What is an open circuit?

An open circuit means there is a break in the system.

What is a closed circuit?

A circuit all the way around without any breaks in the systems.
