Purpose of Rules and Regulations

Guidance, regulation, and control of the conduct of all members of the Fire department of the city of San Antonio. These rules are designed to promote efficiency, discipline, and good public relations by setting policies governing the conduct and demeanor of every member of the Fire Department, both on and off-duty.

While on duty, and you become sick, what are your next actions?

Member shall immediately notify his supervisor and shall not be considered relived of duty until properly released by his supervisor.

What are the work restrictions while on: Sick, Light duty, and Injured?

2. No outside employment (nor City OT) may be waived by Fire Chief

3. OT restriction may be waived by Fire Chief in the event of an emergency.
