How do people with "monkish virtues" act? Who are they?
People who prime themselves for action ("I've got to have courage") showing themselves to be less courages through the priming. But in order to have monkish virtues they must also be people who "insist that such implicit self-praise or self-prompting undermines or erases the virtue in question."
