Why do we breathe? |

Pharynx & epiglottis |
Pharynx is a long tube behind the nasal cavity and under it there's epiglhottis which is like two doors. One for air & one for food and drinks. |

Also called 'voice box'. Air passes across the thin tissues & produces sound. |

The large artery that recieves blood directly from the heart. Oxygen-rich blood is pumped throught it. |

The smallest type of vessel. O2-rich blood travels to the smaller arteries and then capillaries. |

Move by diffusion, out of the capillaries into the body cells. While it's happening, C2O does the opposite. |
