Adie tonic

Affected pupil is toxically dilated (anisocoria). Light reaction absent, near reflex slow.


Due to parasympathetic pupillomotor damage

Wernicke's hemianopic pupil

Light reflex absent when thrown on temporal half of affected side and nasal of opposite side

Uhthoff's symptoms

In Optic neuritis therenis episodic transient obscuration of vision on exertion and exposure to heat which recovers after rest or moving away from the heat

Pulfrich's phenomenon

Depth perception esp for moving objects is impaired, as in optic neuritis
